Key Responsibilities

  • •Open, close, and maintain checking, savings, time deposit, and individual retirement accounts, including working with safe deposit boxes, savings bonds, credit cards, and basic consumer loans.
  • •Listen to clients, collect data, and resolve questions and requests promptly and professionally, including privacy of customer account information.
  • •Profile clients to identify sales opportunities and use lead lists and strategies to generate additional business while meeting sales production goals.
  • •Process new client accounts and account maintenance changes (e.g., name, address, product changes), including clearing DDA exceptions and handling relevant denials/missing signature cards.
  • •Support treasury management with new accounts and services and assist with year-end reporting/special projects at the banking center level.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •Complete the Personal Banker Mentor Program or Personal Banker Learning Plan (and Teller Learning Plan if applicable).
  • •Understand the Caller Identification Process and Secure code training offered by the Training Department.
  • •Complete BPM Training (I, II, III and IV) and training on DocuSign forms and templates.
  • •Experience requirement: zero up to 3 years of New Account experience; maintain accuracy for requested customer file maintenance and debit card disputes.
