Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage project delivery of road/transport schemes from inception through handover to the client.
  • •Coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs and manage resources to meet fluctuating workloads.
  • •Deliver compliant designs on time and within budget, in line with Irish Health & Safety requirements, QA, and technical review requirements.
  • •Review designs with clients, manage technical queries/RFIs, support technical change management, and provide engineering assurance.
  • •Coordinate team members to deliver cost-effective solutions, mentor less experienced colleagues, and support tender bids and business development opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Be a Chartered Civil Engineer or an Incorporated Engineer with extensive post-professional qualification experience.
  • •Demonstrate project management and technical delivery leadership for medium to high complexity Roads/Infrastructure schemes, with experience of Transport Infrastructure Ireland / National Transport Authority / Local Authority procedures.
  • •Have strong knowledge of technical standards, tendering, contract engagement, and design review and assurance.
  • •Apply current design standards for Urban Street and/or Active Travel Design (e.g., DMURS, Traffic Signs Manual, National Cycle Manual) and Highway Geometric Design (e.g., TII Publications) and TII/NTA project management guidelines.
  • •Show good communication, client handling, and interpersonal skills; excellent IT skills including MSProject.
