Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead supplier operational performance by implementing Thales supplier quality, strategy, processes, and procedures.
  • •Develop and establish robust supplier processes to improve maturity and sustain KPI achievement for NPI and series production parts.
  • •Manage supplier development activities including technical query resolution, support on technical qualifications, and assistance with new product launches.
  • •Coordinate and report on non-compliances, quality issues, supplier development strategy, processes, and quality improvement programs.
  • •Audit vendors/suppliers periodically, manage supplier KPIs, ensure compliance with QMS requirements, and drive process improvement/value enhancement opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with experience in machining and surface treatment processes.
  • •Strong knowledge of machining, surface treatment, painting, chromate conversion, anodizing, plating, and related processes (GDC/HPDC, investment casting, forging).
  • •Knowledge of quality processes, statistical quality tools, and metrology.
  • •Solid understanding of APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, FPY, SLC, and PPAP.
  • •10–12 years of professional experience in supplier quality/supplier development and technical qualification support.
