Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and develop a client-focused mine water treatment team for WSP’s UK and Ireland mining business.
  • •Drive strategic development of a client-focused water stewardship initiative to support water intensity/efficiency and sustainability objectives.
  • •Develop effective client relationships and deliver purposeful solutions to client challenges.
  • •Collaborate and integrate with other regional mining teams and support the current UK and Ireland mine water team.
  • •Contribute to WSP’s consulting approach by supporting work across the mining life cycle through multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Bachelor-level qualification in process or chemical engineering (or equivalent field).
  • •Masters or PhD level qualification in a relevant field.
  • •Proven track record building, developing, and leading mine water treatment teams with strong employee retention.
  • •Demonstrated experience in client relationship management and business development, including sourcing projects.
  • •Demonstrated leadership in HSSE through implementation of HSSE policies and procedures and positively impacting health and safety culture.
