Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership for all employees in the Hydrocarbons Maintenance organization, delivering safe, quality, efficient maintenance execution for Channelview.
  • •Ensure daily delivery through the Maintenance and Operations Workflow Process (MOWP), monitoring and analyzing Key KPIs and maintenance budget targets.
  • •Structure and manage maintenance resources (internal, external, company, and contractors) to deliver tasks safely, with expected quality, and in an efficient manner.
  • •Implement and standardize site maintenance best practices and initiatives, including technology standardization and technology transfer supported by cost/benefit justification.
  • •Own process-safety assurance and prevention steps (competency training, standards/procedure training, quality control/audits, and root-cause follow-up) and manage performance, coaching, accountability, and succession planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience in progressively responsible petrochemical or refining process operations roles, or 18 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • •5 years of prior industry leadership experience, with leadership in Maintenance and/or Reliability preferred.
  • •Knowledge of the Maintenance and Operations Workflow Process (MOWP).
  • •Strong systems skills for designing and delegating maintenance systems, including Operational Excellence and Mechanical Integrity.
  • •Excellent written and oral communication skills across all organizational levels and with external suppliers.
