Job Summary

Build and manage infrastructure for modern data and AI platforms, using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Microsoft Azure. Own Azure Databricks platform reliability through automation, monitoring, and cost controls, and deliver CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps. Partner with data engineers and data scientists to troubleshoot and support deployments while implementing security, governance, and identity controls, including Databricks Unity Catalog.

Key Responsibilities

•Use Terraform to provision, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure including VNets, subnets, NSGs, Microsoft Entra ID service principals, and ADLS Gen2.
•Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps to automate testing and deployment for infrastructure and data engineering applications.
•Automate administration and monitoring of the Azure Databricks platform using Azure Monitor; manage cluster policies, instance pools, and cost controls.
•Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to understand infrastructure needs, troubleshoot deployment issues, and ensure a highly available automated platform.
•Implement and automate security controls, network configurations (e.g., Private Endpoints), identity management, and data governance using Databricks Unity Catalog.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure role.
•Strong, hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps.
•Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills with hands-on Terraform.
•Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, especially Azure Virtual Network (VNet), Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2).
•Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation and tooling.
