Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct a team of data scientists to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-driven solutions supporting global operational excellence.
  • •Oversee development of software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple sources.
  • •Translate SMAI strategy into data science initiatives aligned to business goals across manufacturing, supply chain, and operations.
  • •Guide AI/ML model design and implementation, ensuring robust data pipelines and model deployment, validation, and monitoring.
  • •Champion data governance, including data quality, security, and compliance, and identify high-impact opportunities with global partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • •Proven track record delivering AI solutions in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain domains.
  • •Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with data modeling experience.
  • •Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Vertex AI, and Cloud Functions.
