Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic employment law advice across Canva's Philippines operations with scope to support broader APAC matters
•Advise on performance management, employee relations, investigations, exits, regulatory issues, and contingent workforce questions
•Partner with People, Total Rewards, Finance, and business leaders to support Canva's evolving workforce model as we scale
•Develop and implement scalable employment frameworks, policies, and guidance for a high-growth environment
•Manage employment disputes, claims, and regulatory inquiries, including external counsel engagement when needed

Key Requirements

•Admitted to practice in the Philippines with 6+ years of post-qualification experience in employment law
•Strong, current knowledge of Philippine employment law and employee relations frameworks
•Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders on complex employment matters balancing legal risk with business considerations
•Experience in a tech company, high-growth organization, or multinational setting
•Able to navigate ambiguity and translate complex legal concepts into plain language that others act on
