Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined commercial market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems onsite, using air conditioning theory, pipe fitting knowledge, and blueprints/engineering specs. Coordinate with team leaders and customers, ensure safety and accountability of company assets, and provide responsive support across new setups and retrofits.

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Use software/technology, hand tools, and blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
•Work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays, to support customer needs.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability by recording use, wear, and asset conditions.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent, and typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.
•Technical School or formal training is preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with hand-held computers (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
•EPA Certification; chiller experience is a plus.
