Safely operate sawmill production equipment in a pine sawmill environment, monitoring lumber and material flow before, through, and after the machine. Make quick, production-focused decisions to prevent waste, jams, and misalignment, perform routine checks and housekeeping, and communicate clearly with sawyers, forklift operators, maintenance, and supervisors. Follow strict safety procedures including PPE and lockout/tagout to keep the mill running safely, efficiently, and productively.
