•Participate in improving TikTok Search core algorithms for better relevance and matching.
•Build content understanding and matching systems using cutting-edge NLP and computer vision to select the most relevant videos.
•Develop user behavior modeling and recommendation approaches to improve personalization based on relevance.
•Improve video understanding using NLP, computer vision, and other techniques to increase authority, credibility, and usefulness of results.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
•Proficient coding skills with strong algorithm and data structure fundamentals.
•Effective communication and teamwork skills.
•Experience with NLP, ranking, ads, search engines, recommender systems, distributed systems, and/or machine learning.
•5+ years of related industry experience (preferred).
