Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling, delivering, and providing ongoing service for retail banking products and fee-income offerings.
  • •Assess and update understanding of client financial needs using personal financial planning analysis, and coordinate with advisors for investment account adherence to objectives and policies.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, investment, and market trends to serve as a financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their professionals (e.g., attorneys and CPAs).
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals through new client development, expansion of services, marketing, referral processes, and maintaining sales activity, pipeline, and contact management data.
  • •Partner with internal IRM product and service specialists and external centers of influence to ensure integrated client development and servicing, and advocate on behalf of clients while operating within audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum five years of financial services experience working with clients across banking, investments, and/or retail lending, or one year in a financial client relationship manager role.
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory and investment management/asset allocation concepts for the mass affluent market.
  • •Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) plus applicable Life, Health, and Variable insurance licenses, maintained or obtained within required timelines; SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act and NMLS background check compliance.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, with proficiency in written/verbal presentation and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
