Job Summary

Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent, financially complex clients. Use personal financial planning and advisory concepts to deepen relationships and deliver integrated retail solutions spanning banking, mortgage, planning, investments, and insurance. Drive client acquisition and retention by leveraging referrals, meeting revenue and profitability goals, and supporting sales and referral processes within the Premier Banking program while maintaining compliance across audit, regulatory, and risk frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling and delivering fee income and retail banking products/services with highly personalized service.
•Establish and update understanding of clients’ financial needs using personal financial planning analysis; coordinate with financial advisors on investment accounts to meet asset allocation objectives.
•Stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, and investment trends; act as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their professional advisors (including CPAs).
•Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing products, using sales management and segmentation models, and tracking pipeline/sales activity in the contact management system.
•Coordinate with Truist Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners and external centers of influence to provide integrated, seamless service and support business development while adhering to audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience/training.
•Minimum of five years of financial services experience working with clients in banking, investments, and/or retail lending.
•Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, investment management, asset allocation, and retail credit/bank products for mass affluent clients.
•Must maintain or obtain within 100–150 days: SIE, FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu), plus applicable insurance licenses; also be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant with 30 days and complete required NMLS background check.
•Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, with strong written/verbal/presentation abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
