Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop network and system architectures, define capabilities and performance requirements, and establish implementation approaches for mission requirements.
  • •Deploy, configure, and maintain VDI environments (including Horizon, Citrix, Azure, AWS and similar platforms) and manage desktop pools and user profiles.
  • •Implement and manage user access policies and permissions, ensuring appropriate security protocols are enforced.
  • •Ensure compliance with STIG and TCNO requirements, including patch management and updates for desktop virtualization systems.
  • •Provide end-user support and training, troubleshoot VDI issues, and monitor/optimize virtual desktop performance; maintain documentation and collaborate with security/network teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 190,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Clearance Required: TS/SCI.
  • •10+ years designing, installing, configuring, and managing VMware virtualization components (vSphere, vSAN for Horizon, Horizon, Workspace ONE, ThinApp, App Volumes).
  • •Proven experience with VMware, Horizon, Citrix, Azure, or other virtual technology stacks.
  • •Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and RHEL desktop master image management and VDI deployment best practices.
  • •Strong understanding of Active Directory, PCoIP/BLAST, DNS/NTP/TCP-IP/ICMP, DFS, WSUS, VLANs, routing, and patch management/TCNO compliance.
