Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify, assess, and document cyber security risks across sector and technology environments.
  • •Maintain the EIT cyber risk register and track associated mitigation plans.
  • •Analyse emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities to assess potential business impact.
  • •Support automation and continuous improvement of the cyber risk service and develop cyber risk metrics such as Key Risk Indicators.
  • •Monitor compliance with agreed cyber security policies and support assessment and management of cyber risks across the organisation.

Salary: GBP 34,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in IT, Cyber Security, or Computer Science.
  • •Demonstrate cyber security methodologies and problem-solving in an organised, logical manner.
  • •Understand basic cyber security concepts including vulnerabilities, threats, controls, and risks.
  • •Have a good understanding of cyber security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • •Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple cyber functions.
