Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in the full development lifecycle to deliver backend services and client libraries for storing and accessing large data sets.
  • •Design and implement reliable, secure, high-performance services supporting cloud storage backends (AWS S3, GCS, Azure Blob Store).
  • •Contribute to product features that enable customers to store and access their data easily.
  • •Address problems spanning product to infrastructure, including distributed systems, workflow orchestration, and monitoring.
  • •Collaborate with teams across Databricks to improve developer experience and platform reliability.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Computer Science or related field
  • •3+ years of production-level experience in Java, Scala, C++, or similar language
  • •Experience developing large-scale distributed systems
  • •Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures
  • •Knowledge of SQL
