Key Responsibilities

  • •Support ground investigation projects including desk studies, site inspections, rockface surveys, and geomorphological mapping.
  • •Assist with planning and procuring ground investigations and support senior staff in supervising on-site activities.
  • •Contribute to data collection, management, and interpretation of geological and geotechnical data using Openground and Leapfrog.
  • •Help prepare interpretative and design reports, ground models, and technical documentation aligned to guidelines and standards.
  • •Provide design support for foundations, retaining walls, slope stability, earthworks, and rock slope stabilisation, and assist with tender documentation such as works requirements and drawings.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology, or Geology.
  • •Expected 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or higher.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD or Civil 3D experience is advantageous.
  • •Strong interest in geotechnics and willingness to engage with multidisciplinary colleagues and clients.
  • •Must have the right to work in the UK.
