Job Summary

Serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, guiding data and AI transformation on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. Lead architecture workshops, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and advise on modernization, cloud migration, governance, and AI initiatives. Support implementation and adoption by reviewing engineering/analytics/ML workloads for scalability, performance, security, and cost, while presenting to executives and mentoring technical teams. Partner with sales and account teams during pre-sales and proof-of-concept activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the primary technical advisor for strategic Databricks customers and guide architecture decisions.
•Design and review scalable data, analytics, and AI architectures leveraging the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
•Lead architecture workshops and translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans.
•Support implementation and adoption by assessing workloads for scalability, performance, security, and cost optimization and resolving blockers.
•Deliver executive presentations and support pre-sales activities by partnering with sales/account teams on discovery, proposals, and proof-of-concepts.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud architecture, analytics, or related fields.
•3+ years working with Databricks in enterprise environments.
•Strong expertise in modern data platform architecture and cloud-native solutions.
•Hands-on experience designing and implementing Lakehouse architectures.
•Proficiency with Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and data governance/security; plus Python and SQL; experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
