Key Responsibilities

  • •Scale the Customer Engineering organization across a region, segment, or product domain, hiring and developing managers and building succession plans.
  • •Own CE commercial outcomes, including forecasting, pipeline reviews, win/loss analysis, strategic account planning, and new business acquisition, retention, expansion, and consumption targets.
  • •Shape GTM strategy and execution by partnering with Sales, Customer Experience, Professional Services, and Product; define territory/account strategies and allocate coverage models.
  • •Coach Customer Engineering leadership on deal strategy, people development, technical architecture review, and executive communication while setting leadership standards.
  • •Build operational scale through systems, dashboards, and AI-augmented workflows; translate field signals into actionable feedback across Product, Engineering, Support, and Marketing.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in technical go-to-market roles with a proven record building and managing high-performing teams in SaaS, cloud, or infrastructure.
  • •Prior experience managing managers and owning revenue targets at scale is required.
  • •Experience owning and forecasting CE or Solutions Engineering revenue numbers in an enterprise B2B or infrastructure environment, including ACV, renewal, expansion, consumption, and platform economics.
  • •Ability to inspire, coach, and develop senior managers and senior individual contributors, with strong C-level executive presence.
  • •Demonstrated fluency in at least two or three areas such as DNS/HTTP/TCP-IP/BGP/SSL-TLS, security (WAF/Bot Management/Zero Trust/SASE/DDoS), performance/networking, or AI & platform workflows (LLMs, automation, edge services, developer tooling).
