Job Summary

Lead subsea well access and intervention solutions from concept development through offshore execution and performance optimization. Define intervention and access strategies across riser-based, riserless, and light well intervention scopes, assess technical feasibility (water depth, metocean, interfaces, tooling, ROV and vessel requirements), and ensure design-to-execution readiness. Partner with wells specialists to deliver defensible techno-economic cases and differentiated, executable proposals for mature offshore and decommissioning projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Frame subsea intervention and subsea well access concepts from opportunity screening into credible execution planning.
•Define subsea intervention strategies across riser-based, riserless, light well intervention, P&A, inspection, maintenance, and offshore lifecycle scopes.
•Assess technical feasibility including operating envelopes, water depth, metocean, interfaces, tooling compatibility, ROV requirements, vessel spread, and equipment availability.
•Identify design-to-execution inputs across wells, subsea, marine, controls, facilities, HSE, logistics, regulatory, and commercial needs; challenge missing data.
•Translate intervention capabilities into integrated proposals and define execution constraints, risk framing, and techno-economic drivers with wells specialists.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Subsea, Marine, or Offshore Engineering.
•15+ years of experience in subsea intervention, subsea well access, offshore execution, P&A, or subsea lifecycle operations.
•Deep understanding of subsea trees, wellheads, intervention systems, tooling interfaces, ROV operations, vessel spreads, and offshore execution risk.
•Proven ability to frame subsea intervention value propositions and defend techno-economic options with clients and leadership teams.
•Ability to work in cross-functional, multicultural teams and apply strong problem-solving and critical thinking to complex challenges.
