Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead cost planning, estimating, and commercial management for hyperscale data center facilities, including buildings, substations, site infrastructure, and utilities.
  • •Develop and maintain detailed cost plans and estimates at key design milestones.
  • •Manage change control, cost variances, contingency strategy, valuations, commitment tracking, and reconciliation of contractor/subcontractor data.
  • •Review pricing, lead negotiations, estimate and negotiate change orders, and drive commercially sound outcomes for the client.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports, executive summaries, funding presentations, support value engineering workshops, and manage post-contract reporting and final account close-out.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •5–7+ years of relevant cost management experience within the construction industry.
  • •Proven experience leading cost management on medium to large, high-complexity projects, ideally including data centers or mission-critical facilities.
  • •Strong understanding of procurement strategies, value management, and value engineering.
  • •RICS accreditation or working toward chartership preferred, with excellent communication skills at all stakeholder levels.
