Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake surface water drainage and cross drainage design for roads, rail, and civil projects.
  • •Design and model pavement and subsurface drainage for roads and civil projects.
  • •Design and model water quality measures for roads and civil projects.
  • •Liaise with drafters to produce design drawings and prepare drainage design reports.
  • •Assist in developing less experienced engineers in a collaborative team environment.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • •Licensed Civil Engineer.
  • •Proven recent Australian experience in drainage design for major transport projects.
  • •Good understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic modelling packages for road drainage, cross drainage, and flood analysis.
  • •Proficiency in 12D for drainage design and analysis; experience with HECRAS, MUSIC, TuFlow is advantageous.
