Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the design of brand-new Precision Approach and Landing equipment.
  • •Perform hands-on lab testing and troubleshoot lab failures.
  • •Create, analyze, and review mechanical drawings and schematics; assist with analysis across concept, design, fabrication, modeling, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • •Assist with technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost/risk and supportability/effectiveness analyses for total systems.
  • •Support configuration management, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, interface definition, and decomposition of customer specifications into subsystem requirements and verification plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Working knowledge of the Systems Engineering Discipline.
  • •Knowledge of testing GPS functionality.
  • •Familiarity with radio transceiver architecture/design, radio functional component blocks, performance specifications, and test methodologies.
