Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect Security Operations Centre (SOC) solutions across conceptualisation, architecture, design, build, deployment, and operation to meet customer requirements.
  • •Engage client stakeholders to understand and/or define security requirements, including accreditation requirements.
  • •Conceptualise and architect SOC solutions (service, people, process, technology, physical layers), including CONOPS and design documentation at multiple levels.
  • •Design and support security tooling such as Splunk/Sentinel SIEM, Nessus vulnerability management, and Microsoft XDR.
  • •Assess existing deployments and client capabilities to improve overall SOC maturity, leveraging scalable and resilient on-prem and cloud security architectures.

Key Requirements

  • •Act as Lead SOC Architect to architect SOC solutions across services, people, policy/process, technology, and physical infrastructure layers.
  • •Design/build/deploy SOC technology with experience across at least two of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
  • •Strong knowledge of security operations best practices and mitigation techniques for common threats.
  • •Proficiency in risk assessment and vulnerability management, including understanding least-privilege and encryption practices.
  • •Familiarity with architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachmann) and experience working with Government systems and senior stakeholders.
