Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and control unit/plant operation parameters and coordinate with other operators on related activities.
  • •Comply with safety rules and be familiar with fire equipment in the operator’s area.
  • •Monitor unit parameters, record periodic readings, and summarize shift activities in the log book.
  • •Follow instructions of the Shift Charge Engineer and Shift Supervisor and coordinate with other operators during shift activities.
  • •Coordinate Lock Out/Tag Out during maintenance, inspect equipment parameters, raise work requests/defect notes, and assist in training new operators.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Engineering is required; Bachelor of Engineering is also listed.
  • •5 years in the same position.
  • •Knowledge of plant P&IDs, SOPs, work instructions, operation and control logics, and emergency operation procedures.
  • •Comply with safety rules and understand PPE, firefighting equipment, and first aid measures.
  • •Knowledge of Quality, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment management principles, including waste identification/classification/disposal and emission monitoring.
