Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and investigate escalated Level 2 alerts, closing potential/true matches and discounting false positives as appropriate.
  • •Raise RFIs when client information is insufficient to determine whether an alert is PEP or not.
  • •Ensure investigations and decisions are completed within defined SLAs and documented global procedures and process standards.
  • •Perform ongoing monitoring and review of workflow and priorities, ensuring productivity and quality targets are met.
  • •Complete MI and required data updates accurately, and drive customer-centric quality initiatives for timely resolution of escalated issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • •Strong understanding of sanctions regulations and PEP classifications, including Adverse Media categories.
  • •Familiarity with watchlist screening systems such as Fircosoft, LexisNexis Bridger, Dow Jones, World-Check, or Fiserv.
  • •Knowledge of alert handling, match evaluation, escalation protocols, and screening methodologies (e.g., fuzzy/phonetic matching, transliteration, risk scoring).
  • •Experience handling complex alerts/high-risk cases with accurate, judgment-based quality reviews.
