Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot field instrumentation.
  • •Provide controls system programming and process troubleshooting using ABB 800xA historical data collection system.
  • •Install and troubleshoot 600V variable speed drives and motors in coordination with the electrical department.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair transmitters, instrument air/plant air, pneumatics, process valving, actuators, and related components.
  • •Utilize HART communicators and maintain/troubleshoot/calibrate process analyzers and industrial communication systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Red Seal Trade Certification in Instrumentation and Controls Technician.
  • •3-5 years industrial instrumentation experience.
  • •Provide controls system programming and process troubleshooting using ABB 800xA historical data collection system.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot and repair level, pressure, and flow transmitters, instrument air/plant air, and compressors.
  • •Valid Class 5/7N driver’s license with access to personal transportation.
