Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Project QA/QC Manager or Sr. QA/QC Engineer in implementing the quality management system at site per the approved Project Quality Plan and IMS procedures.
  • •Prepare and submit work inspection requests (WIRs) for construction activities; ensure inspections cover all on-site activities and support first submission acceptance at a 90% rate.
  • •Check incoming materials against project specifications and approved material submittals; raise NCR to suppliers for substandard materials and include inspection records in monthly quality reports.
  • •Monitor WIRs, test reports, and logs; maintain records of work and material inspections, document test results and mill certificates, and share updates with relevant teams.
  • •Support document control (distribution of approved consultant documents) and help ensure method statements and test plans are submitted and followed; participate in HSE initiatives and incident reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of working experience with 3 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction quality assurance.
  • •In-depth knowledge of a Quality Management System (QMS) or Integrated Management System (IMS), including ISO 9001–based quality procedures.
  • •Ability to assist in implementing the project quality management system at site and follow approved Project Quality Plans and IMS procedures.
  • •Experience preparing and monitoring work inspection requests (WIR), test reports, and inspection/test plans (ITP) and advising corrective actions.
  • •Professional degree in MMUP engineer registration (UPDA) or experience/certification such as Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) or ASQC (CQM/CQE), plus a bachelor’s degree in a related field or Civil Engineering.
