Job Summary

Manage GST compliance end-to-end for clients, including data preparation, filing GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, ITC reconciliation, and preparing GSTR-9/9C. Independently handle amendments, liaise with consultants, coordinate advances and billing, and support GST audits and assessments to ensure timely, accurate indirect tax filings.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently handling GST compliances which broadly involve following tasks: Amendments in registration; Preparation of the data, review and filing of the monthly returns (GSTR-1 and 3B); Addressing queries of consultants related to input and output transactions; Coordinating advances and billing before finalizing monthly GST liability; Identify ineligible credit from input register and remove it; Reconcile GLs with returns data; GST Credit reconciliation and communication with vendors.
•GST Audit (9/9C) – compiling details for Annual GST Audit based on monthly returns and books of accounts; provide reports for audit.
•GST Assessment & Appeals – manage GST assessments, documentation, liaison with GST officers, and submissions with guidance of seniors; monitor timelines.
•Miscellaneous advisory services on applicability of GST, rate of tax, HSN code usage, and allowability of input credit.

Key Requirements

•Commerce graduate / Inter- CA / MCom / CMA with 4-7 years of experience.
•Prior experience in Indirect Taxation.
•Should be an experienced problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Advanced MS Office skills.
