Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide senior oversight of the investment governance framework across the Alternatives Asia platform, ensuring governance is robust, proportionate, and scalable.
  • •Oversee and challenge governance across the investment lifecycle, ensuring governance evolves as the platform, strategies, and client base grow.
  • •Identify, challenge, and escalate governance, process, and control gaps across APAC investment capabilities in partnership with Investment, Risk, and Compliance.
  • •Track investment decisions, actions, and outcomes to improve transparency, accountability, and decision-making quality for the Alternatives business.
  • •Design, embed, and continuously improve the APAC investment governance model and support Real Assets portfolio monitoring and responsible investment tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience in investment governance and investment process oversight within Alternatives, Real Assets, or broader asset management.
  • •Ability to identify, challenge, and escalate governance, process, and control gaps, driving remediation to closure with first- and second-line stakeholders.
  • •Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence without authority across investment teams, Risk, Compliance, Data, and Technology.
  • •Strong analytical capability to track investment decisions/actions/outcomes and support portfolio analysis and monitoring frameworks.
  • •Experience delivering change initiatives (process, systems, technology) including documentation, testing, training, and BAU handover.
