Key Responsibilities

•Serve as lead engineer or discipline lead for mid- to large-scale water resources and stormwater infrastructure projects
•Direct preparation and delivery of construction packages, including design drawings, specifications, cost estimates, alternatives analyses, technical memoranda, and design reports
•Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering projects with a focus on stormwater management systems
•Perform and oversee hydrologic and hydraulic analyses specifically for roadway and highway drainage, including culvert sizing, storm drain system design, cross-drainage structures, and floodplain impacts at roadway crossings
•Lead conceptual and final design of roadway drainage infrastructure including culverts, storm drain systems, detention facilities, channels, and erosion control measures integrated with roadway profiles and grading plans

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 155,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline with 8 years of relevant professional experience
•Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Arizona or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire
•Preferred: Master’s in Civil Engineering or related field
•Experience with DOT or municipal roadway drainage standards (e.g., ADOT, county public works) including inlet spacing, gutter flow, spread calculations, and storm drain hydraulic design
•Demonstrated expertise in stormwater evaluation and design, including 1D/2D hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
