Job Summary

Drive high-impact FP&A for the Meals & Beverages Division’s Transportation team by translating complex cost and volume drivers into executive-ready insights. Own monthly performance management (close, variance, and storytelling), lead annual budget and in-year forecasts, and build driver-based models. Partner with transportation and supply chain stakeholders on cost optimization, business cases, and an ~$400M operating expense portfolio, while improving financial systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze monthly actuals vs plan, forecast, and prior year to isolate volume, rate, mix, and productivity drivers and communicate insights to finance and non-finance leaders.
•Lead annual budget and in-year forecasts for Transportation, building driver-based financial models and documenting key assumptions and sensitivities.
•Serve as primary finance partner to Transportation and adjacent Supply Chain stakeholders, explaining the “why” behind results and presenting recommendations via one-pagers, dashboards, and executive presentations.
•Support volume and expense planning for loads, lanes, carriers, and fuel; evaluate ROI and sensitivities for initiatives like network changes, productivity improvements, and carrier strategies.
•Develop expertise in financial planning systems, create training for cost center managers, troubleshoot and support users, and implement process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and reporting.

Key Requirements

•Strong FP&A fundamentals including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and performance management with working knowledge of accounting concepts.
•4+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, or related roles.
•Demonstrated ownership of budgeting and forecasting cycles, monthly close support, and variance analysis.
•Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills including driver-based forecasts, scenario analysis, and sensitivities.
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
