Job Summary

Design and develop DoD training and performance support solutions using the ADDIE model for instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced eLearning. Partner with SMEs and program managers to gather content, build learning objectives, storyboards, assessments, and evaluation metrics, and create interactive multimedia. Analyze existing training for improvements, ensure deliverables meet DoD standards with SCORM and Section 508 accessibility, and perform formative/summative evaluations to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Apply the ADDIE model to design, develop, and evaluate instructional materials and curricula for instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced eLearning.
•Collaborate with SMEs, program managers, and stakeholders to gather content and validate instructional approaches.
•Develop instructional strategies, learning objectives, storyboards, course content, assessments, and evaluation metrics.
•Create engaging interactive multimedia learning content and analyze existing training programs to recommend improvements.
•Ensure deliverables meet DoD standards, including SCORM compliance and Section 508 accessibility, and conduct formative and summative evaluations.

Key Requirements

•Prior military aviation maintenance and aviation training experience (required).
•5+ years of instructional design experience, including at least 3 years supporting DoD or federal government training initiatives.
•Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training Development, or related field.
•Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
•Proficiency with eLearning development tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS), plus ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (US Citizen required).
