Key Responsibilities

  • •Define functional goals and objectives, build a strong talent pipeline, and lead managers overseeing complex operations in the market/country.
  • •Manage service operations teams covering internal business services, technological services, and transformation resources.
  • •Engage stakeholders to establish business needs, and ensure internal business operations follow HSBC policies, blueprint, and design principles.
  • •Implement Asset Management operational strategy locally, oversee operational risks, and ensure audits, compliance monitoring, and testing reviews are coordinated and closed out.
  • •Oversee fund administrator performance via KPIs and service reviews, support business continuity needs, and drive continuous improvements in efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Key Requirements

  • •15 years of operations experience within the asset management industry, focused on change management, operational risk mitigation, and governance oversight.
  • •Directly manage internal and regulatory audits.
  • •Knowledge and experience working with fund administrators.
  • •University degree or post graduate degree or professional designation in investments, business administration, or project management (advantage).
  • •Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and workflow diagrams, plus excellent communication and negotiation skills.
