Job Summary

As a Lead Associate - AI / .NET, you will provide architectural direction across multiple products, shaping secure, scalable cloud-native AI solutions. You’ll mentor developers, set engineering standards, select tools and patterns, and collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to align with Davies’ long-term tech roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

•Architecture and Design: Own and define Lead Associate - AI / .NET Application architecture in collaboration with Infrastructure and Solution Architects; design secure, scalable, cloud-native systems; recommend tools, frameworks, patterns and methods; break down complex changes into deliverable components; produce documentation of architecture decisions.
•Technical Leadership & Delivery: Provide expert technical direction to developers and delivery teams; support solutions with architectural compliance; advocate for engineering excellence and performance; identify issues early and propose pragmatic solutions; advise on emerging technologies.
•Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Explain architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders; inform Product Owners and clients on progress and risks; work with Product, Engineering, and Platform teams for feasibility and alignment; build relationships and model engineering standards.
•Innovation, Research & Continuous Improvement: Evaluate emerging technologies and cloud services for future solutions; recommend improvements to systems, tooling, processes and architecture; promote automation and modern cloud patterns.
•Coaching & Mentoring: Provide coaching to less experienced developers; support skill development using SFIA framework; lead by example in professionalism and collaboration.

Key Requirements

•Strong experience with .NET / C# and related server-side technologies
•Cloud-native application design with Azure, AWS, or GCP
•Frontend experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) is desirable
•Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, automated testing, and container technologies
•Ability to provide coaching and mentorship to developers and drive architectural change
