Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and test GenAI-powered solutions to support PathWise model design, build, testing, and documentation activities.
  • •Implement RAG-based solutions including document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, retrieval strategies, and prompt development.
  • •Build, refine, and evaluate prompts, tools, and workflows to improve AI application effectiveness.
  • •Support solution testing by measuring performance, identifying improvement areas, and documenting findings.
  • •Evaluate AI solutions for accuracy, reliability, security, and responsible use, collaborating with actuaries and development teams to deliver production-ready tools.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 96,425 - 125,400 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • •3+ years of experience in Python software development, including work with AI, machine learning, or Generative AI.
  • •Experience using LLMs and GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, and OpenAI APIs (or similar).
  • •Familiarity with RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering concepts.
  • •Experience developing REST APIs and integrating external tools and services, with knowledge of testing, version control, and CI/CD.
