Job Summary

Provide HR advisory and hands-on operational support for employees, managers, and business leaders across Costa Rica. You’ll guide HR policy, employee relations, and local compliance (Costa Rica labor laws and FTZ regulations), while managing accurate employee records in Workday. Support documentation requests, onboarding and recruiting coordination, and employee benefits guidance, partnering closely with Regional HR, Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies, processes, and employee relations matters.
•Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data within Workday and other HR systems, and maintain compliant employee records.
•Manage employee and third-party documentation requests, including wage garnishment letters and Verification of Employment letters in Spanish.
•Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring processes and lead onboarding activities for new hires.
•Advise business units on Costa Rica FTZ compliance requirements related to job functions and organizational changes.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in HR, HR Operations, or HR Generalist/Advisory roles.
•Fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English.
•Strong knowledge of Costa Rica labor laws, employment practices, and benefits programs.
•Experience managing employee records and HR compliance processes.
•Experience providing employee advisory support to managers and employees, with a strong consultative/problem-solving mindset.
