Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a team of Quality Inspectors (or provide inspection support in their absence) by reviewing contractors’ workmanship, materials, and equipment for contract conformity.
  • •Provide oversight of construction to ensure compliance with contract requirements and standards, including evaluation of inspection/testing procedures and documentation of deficiency correction.
  • •Monitor contractors’ quality program conformance throughout construction and notify the client of test failures and corrective actions.
  • •Complete and maintain records of field observations (quality assurance, safety compliance, and project tracking), including daily reports, defects lists, and required construction photographs.
  • •Verify that tests are conducted as scheduled, witness selected tests, retain test records, and support punchlist oversight and construction closeout.

Key Requirements

  • •BSc/BA degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, plus 10+ years of related experience (and 2 years of leadership).
  • •Construction Quality Management active certification (CQM) by USACE/NAVFAC.
  • •Experience in QA/QC for large-scale infrastructure projects, including project supervision and construction management focused on quality assurance/control.
  • •Strong knowledge of USACE Three Phases of Quality Control and construction methodologies, materials, and testing procedures.
  • •Valid Driver’s License and ability to work flexible hours (including weekends and holidays) as needed; US Citizenship required.
