Job Summary

Build a modern, greenfield data platform and the cloud infrastructure behind it. You’ll design and implement Terraform-based infrastructure, CI/CD workflows for data engineering deployments, and observability for monitoring, logging, metrics, and incident response. Partner with data engineers and analysts to deliver reliable data pipelines, data models, and storage/processing capabilities across AWS/GCP services in a global fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement cloud-based data platform infrastructure using Terraform with scalability, security, reliability, and cost-efficiency in mind.
•Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows, deployments, and infrastructure provisioning.
•Implement and operate observability using monitoring, logging, and metrics for reliability and fast incident response.
•Collaborate to design and implement data pipelines, data models, and platform capabilities meeting performance and business needs.
•Apply best practices for high availability, disaster recovery, security, and cost optimization, and document architecture and operational procedures.

Key Requirements

•3-5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or DataOps roles.
•Proven experience designing and implementing reliable, scalable data platforms end-to-end.
•Hands-on experience with dbt, Apache Airflow, or Apache Kafka.
•Hands-on proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud architecture patterns on AWS or GCP.
•Proficiency with AWS or GCP data storage and processing services (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, S3, Redshift) plus Kubernetes orchestration.
