Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide birth doula care to clients as part of Loula’s network.
  • •Support insured families accessing doula services through Loula’s matching and referrals.
  • •Maintain required trainings and documentation (CPR, HIPAA) and liability insurance to partner with Loula.
  • •Work as an independent contractor in a non-exclusive network while keeping your own clients and practice.
  • •Participate in Loula’s screening and introductory process to establish fit and onboarding.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed 16 hours of birth doula training and attended 3 births as a doula, OR have 5 years of experience as a doula with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.
  • •HIPAA training.
  • •Liability insurance.
  • •If you don’t yet have CPR training, HIPAA training, liability insurance, or the letters of recommendation, you can still reach out for support setting them up.
