Job Summary

Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment at an asphalt plant, ensuring safe operations in line with company safety procedures and OSHA/MSHA requirements. Follow company policies and managerial direction for daily tasks, report issues, and work with maintenance crews and contractors. Handle ready-mix processing equipment repairs, operate and maintain a field service truck, and use proper lockout/tagout procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure a safe work environment and comply with all safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
•Follow company policies and manager directions for daily tasks and specific projects; report problems to your manager.
•Repair components involved in ready-mix processing equipment and troubleshoot mechanical equipment within the plant.
•Maintain and operate a field service truck and provide tools for welding, fabrication, and millwright work.
•Follow lockout/tagout procedures and work with company maintenance crews and contractors as needed.

Key Requirements

•Be able to work weekends and be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
•Pass pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check, and pass a pre-employment “Fit for Work” physical.
•Provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
•Minimum high school diploma or GED; 2 years related experience is preferred.
•Must follow safety requirements and be able to wear required PPE; a valid driver’s license is required (CDL is a plus).
