Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform assignments in construction layout, making and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests.
  • •Plan and accomplish goals with minimal direction; work under general supervision of the Construction Project Manager.
  • •Set own project deadlines and provide on-the-job training to new employees.
  • •Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and code requirements through inspection duties.
  • •Maintain daily field inspections and records; participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning; track QA progress.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 8 years of related experience performing inspections on related bridge and/or roadway construction projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. Motor Vehicle Records review.
  • •NICET certification Level 3 (or ability to obtain required level) (preferred).
  • •Bachelor of Science Degree in a relevant field (preferred).
  • •Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred).
