Job Summary

Provide technical leadership for site facilities engineering at a major manufacturing plant. Oversee facility layout and critical operational systems, manage infrastructure and building improvement projects, and coordinate external engineering resources. Support bid packages, design reviews, budgeting, schedules, and compliance with local/state/federal codes, health & safety standards, and GMP documentation. Perform energy-use analyses and recommend sustainability-driven improvements while supporting maintenance and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead site facilities engineering, including management/coordination of contractors and suppliers.
•Prepare bid packages, conduct design reviews, and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and budgets.
•Design and oversee facility expansion and layout changes, and improve operational efficiencies.
•Ensure installations meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including DSM requirements and build code.
•Support Management of Change (MOC) and participate in HAZOP/PSA/MSA; create/update facility documentation (e.g., XCN/ECN, procedures).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering in electrical, mechanical, or related fields.
•5-8 years of facility engineering experience (or similar) in a medical device or related industry.
•Experience with AutoCAD.
•Knowledge of building process and construction principles.
•Troubleshooting/problem-solving and project management skills.
