Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and development of the next iteration of the global transactional platform for cross-border payments and international fund collections.
  • •Take full accountability for the services you build end-to-end, including deployment and production health.
  • •Deliver product initiatives end-to-end by translating complex financial business requirements into technical solutions.
  • •Mentor and coach less experienced engineers through high engineering standards and thorough code reviews.
  • •Partner with distributed engineering teams across regions to design robust, modular services and components.

Key Requirements

  • •Design, build, and maintain complex, highly available software systems at scale with clean code and testability (unit/integration testing).
  • •Experience with payments/fintech/banking, including transactional consistency, ledger systems, multi-currency handling, or external financial integrations.
  • •Strong backend engineering skills with distributed architectures, asynchronous messaging, and relational databases.
  • •Experience building and operating standard APIs with external system integrations and robust monitoring/alerting.
  • •Clear communication in English with both technical peers and non-technical business stakeholders.
