Job Summary

Lead end-to-end project delivery for large, complex industrial and science projects, serving as the primary day-to-day client interface and driving delivery against time, cost, quality, and safety targets. Own project governance, planning, quality/safety/HE management, change control, financial monitoring, design management, and cross-functional coordination. Also support marketing and business development through new opportunities, bids, and client pitches, while managing junior project resources where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead end-to-end project delivery for large or complex industrial and science projects, ensuring client objectives are met against time and cost targets and required quality standards.
•Advise at project conception and establish success criteria (time, cost, technical and performance), project governance, and detailed project planning.
•Manage quality, safety, health, and environment issues; drive change control; monitor and advise on project finances and performance using KPIs.
•Drive design management practices across project interfaces and manage flow of project information through meetings and written communications.
•Support marketing and business development by developing opportunities, identifying cross-selling, working on bids, and attending client pitches; manage staff and knowledge/process improvements where appropriate.

Key Requirements

•Professionally qualified in construction, project management, engineering, surveying, architecture, or information technology.
•Qualifications in Project Management or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent knowledge and experience).
•Minimum 8 years of project management experience, preferably in construction, regulated environments, and/or consulting.
•Thorough understanding of the project life cycle and strong knowledge of core project management tools and techniques.
•Business-level English and Japanese required.
