Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies for Ground Support Equipment (GSE), facilities, consumables, and capital/construction projects.
  • •Create strategic sourcing models to optimize value of products and services.
  • •Develop sourcing strategies to reduce risk and support targets for payment terms, cash targets, on-time delivery, and cost savings.
  • •Negotiate and manage contracts from RFP through completion to ensure supplier performance and understand interrelationships between contracts and terms.
  • •Oversee quantitative analysis and business process analysis to identify financial impacts and develop models to improve cost; conduct research and benchmarking to gather market analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree; or bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations/supply chain management, and/or material cost control.
  • •Experience sourcing Machined Parts, Raw Materials, and Weldments.
  • •Strong budget tracking and cost analytical skills.
  • •Strong contract negotiation and document management skills.
  • •Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and travel up to 20% when needed.
