Job Summary

Lead and continuously mature the company’s cybersecurity program as a remote-first leader, establishing strategy, governance, and scalable security roadmaps. Own enterprise-wide risk assessments, vulnerability management, and vendor risk, and oversee incident response, IAM, MFA, and endpoint security. Drive compliance efforts including SOC 2 Type II, support customer security questionnaires, and build security awareness and executive reporting to improve security posture and business resilience.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute information security strategy, policies, and governance frameworks; present risks and security metrics to executive leadership.
•Conduct enterprise-wide cybersecurity risk assessments, manage a risk register and remediation roadmap, and lead vulnerability management.
•Own incident response, including playbooks and exercises, and oversee endpoint security, identity and access management, privileged access controls, and MFA.
•Lead compliance initiatives including SOC 2 Type II and future security certifications; manage customer security questionnaires and documentation.
•Build security awareness and phishing training programs and establish security KPIs with regular reporting on security maturity.

Salary: USD 150,000 - 190,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or risk management.
•3+ years leading enterprise security programs or security teams.
•Experience performing cybersecurity risk assessments and threat modeling.
•Strong knowledge of cloud-first and SaaS environments, including Google Workspace, Salesforce, NetSuite, and Okta.
•Experience implementing and maintaining security frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or the NIST Cybersecurity Framework; CISSP/CISM/CRISC preferred.
