Key Responsibilities

  • •Escort defendants to and from courtrooms, cells, and related areas, ensuring security and safety (handcuffs may be used).
  • •Monitor detainees in docks during court sessions to ensure security and wellbeing.
  • •Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive court information and testimonies.
  • •Support detainees emotionally when processing distressing testimonies while remaining professional.
  • •Complete necessary paperwork and data entry, logging detainee movements and incidents; coordinate with court staff and law enforcement to ensure secure operations.
