Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical design discussions, document decisions and trade-offs, mentor engineers, and perform hands-on code reviews with architecture, data, platform, security, and product teams.
  • •Integrate LLM/GenAI capabilities (e.g., RAG and prompt/agent patterns) into business workflows with requirements for reproducibility, testability, and explainability where needed.
  • •Design, build, test, and operate scalable backend services and APIs, evolving prototypes into secure production capabilities (primarily Python/FastAPI).
  • •Define stable API contracts and integration patterns for internal/external consumers, including versioning, documentation, and backwards-compatibility.
  • •Design and implement data ingestion/integration pipelines with batch and event-driven patterns, including controls for data quality, reconciliation, idempotency, retries, error handling, lineage, metadata, and provenance.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant senior backend engineering experience delivering and operating production services.
  • •Strong Python skills and experience building REST APIs with contract design and versioning (e.g., FastAPI).
  • •Hands-on experience integrating GenAI/LLMs into applications (e.g., RAG, prompt lifecycle management, evaluation/QA) and knowledge modelling (knowledge graphs/ontologies/semantic models).
  • •Solid distributed-systems and service integration fundamentals (sync/async) with experience building reusable modules/capabilities.
  • •Experience across data pipelines and trust controls (batch/event-driven pipelines, orchestration, retries/idempotency, data quality, lineage, metadata, provenance).
