Key Responsibilities

  • •Own delivery of timely, insightful Executive MI and well-written papers for senior GPS committees.
  • •Shape GPS executive financial reporting, aligning outputs to evolving business needs.
  • •Oversee preparation and review of GPS external reporting and investor presentations, including HSBC Holdings plc Annual and Interim Reports.
  • •Deliver strategic analysis supporting management decision-making, including strengthening the NII story.
  • •Govern stress testing outputs and drive digitisation to improve modelling, data visualisation, and planning/forecasting/stress-testing processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Substantial senior finance experience in financial services, with exposure to senior finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • •Proven track record delivering accurate reporting and analysis against tight timelines in large, complex environments.
  • •Capability to set direction for teams across multiple locations within a matrix organisation.
  • •Strong written and executive communication skills, including producing MI, executive updates, and investor/committee papers.
  • •Relevant regulatory and legislative understanding for banking and financial services, with a finance qualification/certification such as CA, CFA, or MA Finance (or equivalent experience).
