Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble, disassemble, and perform functional checks on engine components and/or test equipment under work instructions and procedures.
  • •Set up and prepare the test stand, mounting the test article per procedure, and monitor instrumentation during engine service/testing under supervision or delegate.
  • •Perform self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • •Inspect and maintain equipment, facilities, and support systems; complete required reporting; de-prep, dismount, and preserve the test article for shipment.
  • •Prepare test articles for proper storage/transportation and package engines for shipment to the customer.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or GED.
  • •4+ years of formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.
  • •A & P License (preferred).
  • •F135 experience (preferred).
  • •Well-rounded knowledge of aviation standards, jet engine design/operation, engine hardware/components, and instrumentation installations. (preferred)
